This is on the West end of Clis Road, which is decidedly more budget, with slightly more upscale shops here - not entirely, but on average. At the North end you'll find Takashimaya, and the gorgeous Jozenji-Dori.

If you go there, try the tongue (gyutan), it´s the traditional food of Sendai. So there are many restaurants, stores, etc.

There are tons of shops and restaurants located in the shopping arcade. This is basically an outside covered shopping street. Chuo Dori also connects with this arcade and makes a kind of "T" shape. You can really start the journey near Sendai station and walk along the many shops. This was a perfect place to get out of the rain... More

lot's of stores, including Disney (yay TsumTsum) store, lots of eating places, great pet store with cute puppies and kittens. protected overhead with a canopy. Explore the side streets too, as many stores go out that way including more restaurants. Just a short hop from the main Sendai Station.

This is a lively place with lots of shops and restaurants. On opening hours, tgis place can be quite congested with pedestrians. Its a good place to be on a rainy or sunny day as it is well protected.

This has to be one of my favorite shopping districts in Japan. There's a nice mixture of mainstream western goods and Japanese merchandise. The best part is that it wasn't very crowded compared to shopping in Tokyo or Nagoya. The shops are very spacious and the nearby parking is relatively inexpensive for Japan. The west side also has a nice... More

These roofed outdoor shopping strips are located throughout Japan, usually close by to the major train stations. Conveniently located, and with a variety of shops and restaurants.

This is a good shopping street in the Japanese style, and is a short walk from the JR Station. Lots to see, do, drink and eat. They have some good fashion stores there
