This loople system is so poorly managed it's not even funny. Absolutely jam packed full of people with drivers ignoring stops and randomly heading back to the main station mid journey. After 3 attempts to make it to our desired stops we gave up and took the subway. Staff was no help and seemed to encourage drivers to come back early as the que at the main station was interrupting other bus stops with its length. Absolutely refused a refund even though we never made it more than 6 stops out of 16 before going back to the main station.…

Whilst their is no castle to see here, only foundation ruins, the views over Sendai are very impressive. There are a few other things to see, such as the statue of Date Masamune, and a shrine. There are also a few gift shops, restaurants etc. I stopped here whilst on the Loople bus and it was definitely worth getting off the bus to wander around and take it all in.…

There isn’t anything of the old castle to see but the from there of the city, mountains and giant Buddha are very good. There are a few monuments especially one of the feudal samurai lord and city founder on his horse. It was good to see one cherry blossom tree and a temple there too. …
