Tourists come to Aomori either by ship or from land. The port there is very pretty and the area around including the park and the promenade are nice and quiet to stroll around. Highly recommend those visitors to come and walk along the waterfront prior...More

This was a brilliant beautiful hour walk around the seashore. You can see all sorts of scenery depending on what the weather will give you. Clouds over the mountains, sunrises, sunsets, or blue skies all depend on the day and time, but it'll never be...More

I really enjoy seeing people in their natural elements. I don't really look for tourist spots but this place qualifies as both. It was a bit chilly and windy when I visited, but I still enjoyed the sites.

We arrived at Aomori by cruise. The ship's shuttle took us to the Aspam building, namely the Aomori Prefecture Sightseeing Products Mansion. This pyramid-shaped building must be a landmark of the city. A stroll from here to the Aomori rail station takes about 20 to...More

Aomori Port was calm and peaceful and if you have time, do walk along the seaside promenade from ASPAM to JR Aomori station and enjoy the pleasant environment along. The walk was easy and took about twenty minutes. Recommended.
