About
Food Marche representing the market gathers foodstuff from all regions of Aomori. From food ingredients like elaborate vegetables and fruits from farmers, rice, processed goods and another local rooted articles, to industrial art, folkcraft goods and another craft articles are presented. You can find attractiveness of Aomori that can be found only here. In the central inner area you can watch brewing process right in front of you. Glass-sided "Charming cider factory" is also available. If you come at good timing you could watch hand work of the staff conducting Aomori apples selection, brewing and another procedures. There are 8 brewing tanks inside the factory, and each of them produces every kind of cider and apple soda water. There are abundance of various stores like gelato specialty shop, store with elaborate tart made of Aomori eggs, hamburger shop that represents Aomori and many other inside the facility.

A single floor warehouse type building, comprising a retail mix of souvenirs, dry food like chips , ice cream & cafes. Not very big though but a good place to get Aomori specialities like Apple chips. Nice location near the sea with good views of mountains. The surroundings were snowed-covered, which gives a nice atmosphere. Aomori is well known for its apples. Try the apple chips- it's very different, very nice although a little expensive.

I came to know about this place from some YouTube videos. When we first reached Aomori, this was the place we visited first. It’s a shopping paradise to get local souvenirs and a lot of items that were related to apple, like apple chips, apple jams, etc.
Quite a huge store with a vast amount of selection. Even for the apple juice, there were a variety to choose from. The store was located right beside the Aomori beach so if you are not into shopping, can stroll around the beach area while airing for others to finish shopping.

Agree with some others that the place is a bit overrated. A cool concept to begin with--a food hall dedicated to all things apple--but in the end, the products are the same you find in the small shops around town while the pricing feels more expensive? Maybe it's just a perception, since the space is newly renovated and looks quite chic, like something you'd find in Tokyo. So worth a visit, but I'd spend my money on gifts and souvenirs elsewhere!

Great place to get local Aomori Apple products. There’s a few food choices available and you can try Apple types of treats like gelato, shaved ice, candy apple etc. Had a great time here.

Located just next to the Aomori station, the A-factory contains all kinds of local and local apple products. You can get apple chips, sauces, ice cream, apple ciders etc.
There's a cafe at the back serving hamburgers and a restaurant on the second floor with a cider tasting area if you're into ciders. Good place to shop and check out the local produce

There's an IKEA-ish / Scandinavian feel about this place the moment you step in (or is it just me?). Here, you will find all kinds of apple products, from cider to jam and cookies. Of course, apple is synonymous with Aomori, so it's not surprising. What is surprising, though, is how ingenious the wine tasting bar is!!! Located on the second floor, the bar let's you select from a choice of eight different apple wines and ciders. Simply purchase a "tasting card" from the counter at the 2F restaurant, insert the card into the slot at the wine tasting bar, and select the type and amount of apple 'poison' of your choice! For starters, I recommend you try the Kimori Cidre Sweet...

Many varieties of apple 🍎 products, such as: Apple Juice, chips, fruits, etc. There was a restaurant serving fresh seafood every day till lunch.

This place, together with Wa Rasse museum creates a modern atmosphere, which might be different from other area in Aomori. The view from eat-in cafe is nice - you'll enjoy Aomori bay bridge with a bit of ocean. We came here twice during our trip to Aomori, both for the sweets inside the cafe, and of course they were good too!

A lovely building g and pleasant shopping venue stocking local produce dominated by Apples and the various by products like Cider, cakes, juices etc
