Had made a special trip to visit this area and we were not disappointed. The lake is impressive in scale and attractiveness and the journey to and from passes through pretty countryside

Walked along the lakeshore and sampled food from varrious vendors in town. Enjoyed the peacefullness of the lake. Lots of small shops offering local Japanese art, trinketts and collectables. Visit to the Lake Musem and Doll Musem was very interesting and educational.
