黄色の本堂です

阿波おどり会館近くは寺が密集していて寺町のようなエリアです。この長善寺は浄土真宗本願寺派、つまり西本願寺を頂点とする宗派の寺院です。本堂はコンクリート造り、黄色が目立ちます。

徳島駅から近い

眉山ふもとにある寺町界隈を散歩していた時に見つけた場所です。徳島駅から近いので、雰囲気だけ寺町を味わいたい人にはオススメです！

長善寺♪

近隣の観光が終わった後、時間があったので、寺町も散策してみました。普段、寺町をまわることはあまり無いので見比べしたりを楽しめました。

寺町の中では比較的印象が薄かった

妙永寺、善学寺、妙典寺を参拝した後、通りに戻って、長善寺、寿量寺、妙長寺の順で参拝していきました。その中では印象が薄いお寺だったと思います。

　阿波踊り会館から歩いて参拝しましょう。寺町には駐車できる場所が春日神社だけであったように思います。阿波踊り会館からくるとちょっとしたウォーキングとなりますが、徳島ラーメンを食べて食後の運動に最適でした。

境内はとても狭い

門構えはいいのですが、門をくぐるとすぐ墓がありその向こうが本堂となっており、境内はとても狭い。本堂前のスペースがなく、しかもそこに墓がある寺は、今まで何百という寺を見てきたが、初めてである。余程敷地が狭いのでしょう。

浄土真宗本願寺派

街のランドマーク、阿波おどり会館から寺町方面に5分程度歩いた突き当たりにある寺院です。特に観光的スポットではありませんが、この寺町界隈には25~6の神社や寺院がありますので、街全体を楽しむと良いでしょう。

とても観光スポットとはいえません

阿波踊り会館から徒歩5分くらいにあるたくさんあるお寺の一つです。建物はコンクリートであまり特徴のないお寺で、観光スポットとはいえませんので見る価値はないです。

この寺院も墓地を兼ね備えられております。ＪＲ徳島駅より徒歩で１０分くらい歩いたところにあります。築２００年は経過しようかと思っております。
