About
Tosa Terrace not only has sightseeing pamphlets - it also has a business center and provides accommodation information. The building is also a good venue to relax as there are cedar, hinokia cypress, and Tosa shikui plants inside.

Not much in English
May 2019 • Solo
There are many brochures showing the wide range of activities in this area. There are some in the English language, but not many. I just wanted to buy a postcard, but they had none.

Went in for the usual information and were greeted by a charming girl who spoke passable English who gave more than enough to keep us busy for the days we were here. English maps and other information freely available

So friendly

Review is for this info center and Japanese people in general. Can see why Tokyo is always one of top attractions in the world. The people and their culture are unbelievable!! So friendly and helpful and totally genuine about it. No matter where you go, it's always "Ohio" =good morning and "arregato" thank you.. Never pressure sales and always so happy, only if they could speak English a little better.

Went on cruise and from sail off hundreds of people with lights were waving and people banging on large drums, like a farewell ceremony and same entering every port in Japan... Was like a parade for incoming heros.. Love their culture, so much respect. Can't be beat. 2 days in Japan not enough. Can't wait to come back!!!!!

Very helpful, english speaking staff

We visited Kochi just to see Chikurinji Temple and the staff at the impressive Visitors' centre were very helpful. They also sell discounted tickets (bring your passport) for the convenient bus that takes you to the main attractions. The centre is just outside Kochi JR station.

See the exhibits and get information
May 2018 • Solo
This center combines an information counter with exhibits. Helpful hosts take you around a set built for a television show about local hero Sakamoto Ryoma.

First logical stop in Kochi
Mar 2017 • Friends
This comprehensive center is a tourist information, local products exhibition and sales outlet rolled into one. I must say this center is one of the best I have ever been to anywhere in Japan in terms of contents, diversity of displays and information. It is clear that the local government is serious in its tourism promotions efforts. There are a few brochures in foreign languages (English, Korean, Chinese, Thai). Maps are plentiful too. The center is a museum as well with products of different cities of Kochi prefecture highlighted. Next door is a beautiful interpretation center focusing on the life and times of the hero, Sakamoto Ryoma. Well, you'll see his trademark all over Kochi too starting from Kochi airport named Sakamoto Ryoma Airport.

Being located next to Kochi Station makes it ideal. Staff are helpful. Really a no brainer to stop in and see what current events are. or if you are a first time visitor to Kochi!
