This little shrine is not ostentatious, but has a strong appeal. It is beautifully maintained and is set against a dark green backdrop of trees. We went for New Years when it was crowded but festive with stalls selling all sorts of foods and small souvenirs, which was fun for the family to browse through on our way to the main shrine buildings. Take time to walk through the park across the street. Though not a major destination for someone unfamiliar with Shikoku history and the medieval lord that it enshrines, it is a pretty stop if you are in the area.
