While this is not the most amazing zoo we have ever experienced, it is a cute little excursion, especially if you have kids. Some nice surrounding gardens and ponds as well as some light festivals and activities around the holidays.

A great place to visit with the kids. A nice walkable zoo, but with some hills. There are rides and fishing that you can do with the kids. There is also a fun interactive museum. A great whole day activity for the family!

Its not expensive so not bad for the value. But its not well kept and the animal enclosures are smaller than they should be. The elephant had a baby recently and we were lucky enough to be there during the feeding time.

This zoo makes absolutely no effort to provide anything resembling a natural habitat for most of the animals. Almost all are housed in small pens with concrete pads. There are much better places to spend my time and money on Okinawa.

My family has been here twice. Once for a normal zoo visit in June and another for their evening Christmas Lights Celebration in December. My daughter enjoyed her Birthday at the Zoo. Some of the paths are really steep. Not for the handicapped or really...More
