I took the Karate tour with Ageshio, as part of the group that attended the IKO (International Kenshikai Organisation) 40th anniversary seminar. The tour was organised by Ageshio and our guide was Tetsuhiro Hokama Sensei (10th Dan Karate / Kobudo). I highly recommend a tour with Hokama Sensei to anybody who has a serious interest in the history of martil arts and Okinawa! He speaks English to a good level, as do Kenny and the staff at Ageshio!

Kenny and Carlo were tremendously gracious hosts and guides for my time in Okinawa. It was my first visit to the island, and they were extremely helpful in making introductions to local dojos and providing guidance on what to see and do while I wasn't training. The Ageshio Japan team went out of their way to make sure I had a good experience that allowed me plenty of time to train (the main reason for my visit), as well as the chance to experience Naha fully ... far better than a normal "tourist" experience if I'd relied on a guidebook or travel blog. I would recommend working with them to any individual or group of karateka seeking to make the most of a trip to the birthplace of Karate.

Great atmosphere and organisation, good food, wonderful people and karate. No matter where and what, matters with who. It was the motto of that trip. I will back to the Okinawa.

It was an adventure of a lifetime, a breath of karate in a good old style, like from the movie with Bruce Lee, I recommend Ageshio Japan. During the week I learned more about karate than all my life. I learned new fighting styles and karate gurus. The guys from Ageshio Japan are nice and very entertaining. They led us to places inaccessible to tourists, where prices were half as low as elsewhere. I felt like I would come to visit my family. I recommend with a pure heart. Marcin Bogusz.
