This beach has a lifeguard on duty and a fenced in area to keep the jellyfish away. It is clean and well maintained, although we didn’t use the bathroom facilities. But there’s limited shade, and the shade available is under the expressway way. It was within walking distance to our hotel so easily accessible.

Its not very big but its the only beach in the city really. Sharp coral chunks along waterline. 2 highway overpasses run above it. Scuba training area very close by. There are way better places in okinawa. Stinging jellyfish in swimming area warning sign up today.

The beach has nice clean beach-sand, and the water looks refreshing at this small beach, by December weather keeps most away from taking a dip

If you are not a beach person, you will still love thid place. Located within walking distance, enjoy the sea breeze and also the blue waters. Up the beach is a park, where you can venture and walk about.

This is the nearest beach from Naha city. If you would like to see the ocean of Okinawa anyway, may be recommedable to visit.
Please never expect a beach resort to the place :)

even though this is a small public beach it is clean and well maintained. The view does not offer much but the water is clear and the tide comes in and goes out just like any beach. There is no charge to go to this beach but pack some food because you would have to walk a distant if you get hungry.

When I read that this beach was virtually in the city and I could see that it bordered a harbor, I didn't think I'd dip a toe in the water. My experience - granted at the beginning of the "beach season" - the beginning of April, was fantastic. Clean refreshing water and not too many, friendly, happy locals to enjoy it with. Combine a dip, followed by a shower at the well maintained beach side facilities, with a visit to the shrine that overlooks it and a thought provoking old school site and Buddhist memorial garden nearby. It's easily accessed from Stop 24 of the 230 yen Yui Bus.

This is a small locals beach, not really for tourists. I stopped by just to check on the water temperature. Many families here and there is a netted swimming area with a life guard.

If you think that a motorway flyover and a tropical beach are two things that should never be brought together, you are absolutely right. Yet this place in Naha is exactly that: a beach under a flyover. Nevertheless the water seems to be clean, and there are ok-ish facilities, such as lockers and showers (200 yen a pop for each). The trouble is that it is the only easily accessible beach in the Naha area if you do not want to travel far. Go there if you must have a dip in the sea right now. Otherwise give it a miss.
