There are more identical and interesting stalls when comparing to Kokusaidori. The place is clean but light might be slightly dull at night. Lots of stall to explore.

Heiwadori is one of many streets around the main street Kokusaidori. Fully packed with all kinds of shops and eateries of all different sorts.

My coworker warned me that Heiwadori was going to close for renovations and that they were moving the vendors to another building nearby in the meantime. While there were many shops open, there seemed to have a handful that looked closed - and not closed for the day but closed indefinitely. With that, there's pockets of dark/quiet areas of the arcade lane as the further away from Kokusai Dori, the less shops and people there are.
