This was a tranquil area where there were almost no people. It is easily accessible either before or after your visit to Shuri Castle and costs no extra. It is on the Shuri Castle map you are given with the entrance fee and is easy to find.

After the Shurijo Castle tour we found the perfect place for some quiet time. We watched the ducks take a bath, we fed them some bread brought from home. The ducks were friendly enough to eat from your hand but not comfortable being petted.

Stumbled here by accident after a visit to Shuri Castle. Didn't realise it was popular enough to actually be an entry on TripAdvisor, especially given the fact that there was not a single other person around the whole time I was here (about 45min). There are no signs directing people here either, and the entrance is a very inconspicuous flight... More
