Along the street, you'll find thousands of shops and restaurants of any sorts. They have a holiday promenade every Sunday 12:00-18:00 and you'll see song and dance performances here and there. Great place.

Right in the centre of Naha, this busy street offers everything regular tourist is looking for. There’s plenty of souvenir shops, restaurants (serving mostly local fare, although there are places with western food as well), coffee shops, clothes, pharmacy, etc. Place gets really busy in...More

This is the main street. Most of the other famous and popular shopping arcades and markets shoots off from this street - e.g. Heiwadori, Makishi Public Market. There's no way you are visiting to Naha and not get around to this street. It's where all...More

It’s a normal street for me to buy some souvenir. Unless you have a resto to go, visit somewhere else to spend your valuable time.

Not too big a fan of shopping while on beach holiday, but we visited the area a lot to check out food options. We also happily found the Animal Kingdom place to check out owls and lizards

Must visit and must walk the entire length of the street. I loved it but sad I couldn't buy lot more stuff.

Main shopping strip in Naha where you can get basically all your souvenirs and pharmacy shopping done. Lots of trinket shops selling pretty much the same thing but keep a lookout for unique shops offering original souvenirs, foodstuffs and variations on the local beverage of...More

Not many of these shops are more than trinket shops, but there a few very nice ones that sell mors luxurious items like jewelry or textiles. I wouldn't recommend buying pottery or glassware here as most of it is cheaper when bought from the crafters...More

About 15 minutes walking is correct. The sunshine maybe hot if you do that or the rain may spoil your day. We took a cab (100 yen) because there were 4 of us and also because of our age ( above 75).
