Cute little walk into the "jungle" with impressive tall palm trees. Very lush and green surroundings. Two or three shops just outside selling some refreshments. We went here on a rainy day, really felt like a rainforest!

Having missed our bus back to Ishigaki City from Yonehara Beach, we stumbled on this attraction totally by accident, but I'm glad we did! There is a board walk through the jungle to a grove of incredibly tall palm trees that are unique to the island. We also saw massive banyan trees and even a huge bat! At the start... More

It is a good idea to stop by the palm tree forest on your way to/from Kabira Bay. The walk from the parking is short and comfortable and, at the end of the walk, there is a small palm tree forest. There are a souvenir shop, restaurant and small museum nearby.
