A little hike up the hill, you will find a rest area overlooking the breathtaking turquoise waters surrounding Ishigaki. Along the way is a garden planted with flowers of vibrant color. Vending machines near parking lot sell special Okinawa edited of Coca cola.

Working our way around Ishigake we stoped for a short while to admire the views and the flowers. Parking was easy plenty of places, but the route up is narrow in some areas. Great viewing platform undercover for photo ops on a beautiful if very windy day. Lots of flowers to look at in the well kept gardens, worth a... More

There's a lot of flower here.! You can enjoyed the tropical flowers with sea breeze here.! I was so lucky when on the way here, I found the wild rabbit was eating a flower here.! This observation is good for who love a landscape view.!

Probably the best views on Ishigaki are from the top of Mount Nosoko and at cape Hirakubozaki, however both are not easy to reach. This lookout is much more accessible, but the views are still stunning! So, if you don't have time or physical ability to visit those, come here and you'll not lose much, it's almost as good, and... This place gave you a beautiful view of the island and it is very easily accessible by car. Very pleasant and also not crowded. Bring lots of insect repellent.

What a dreamy spot to go view gazillions of *stars*. Have the app on your phone to read the names of stars, planets and constellations. It was just magical and came upon this spot by chance after having gone to Sunset beach. I'm so glad to have been to Tamatorizaki point !

It is on the way to Sunset beach and would be nice to stop by before going to the sunset beach and do some Panoramic Photography from this point and then head to the sunset beach for the sunset viewing.

Fantastic views of the coast on both sides of Ishigaki island, well worth a visit, although you would need to have a rental car to get here quickly and easily.

I stopped by here on my way to Hirakubo as this was about mid way from Hirakubo and the city centre. I found the view to be quite nice but I personally like Hirakubo better. In Tamatorizaki you see more of the island and the landscape around you. From the parking to the little pavillion is a short walk. There... More
