We stayed in Kabira and since we were not allowed to swim here, we decided to go to Sukaji. This beach was only 2km away. It is quiet and a nice place to stay. Water is stronger than other beaches (like Sunset beach and Fusaki)....More

There are resorts, camping facilities, restaurants closed to this beach. However, it really depends on the climate. We arrived on a windy and cloudy day.....so we've been blow to hell......hahaha And nothing much to see relatively speaking. However, those young people seems enjoying a lot...More

Compared to all the other beaches you can go to on Ishigaki this is definitely no in the top 10. It is an average beach which isn't good for snorkeling or swimming. The only thing we liked about this beach was the sunset since it...More

This was very disappointing. I'm not sure if the beach is permanently closed or just during the low season. The place was completely deserted. Nature had taken over and it almost felt like a ghost town. Broken playground and bathrooms. Not worth a visit!

Quiet and attractive but not good for swimming. Not really worth the drive to it. Few facilities - if any.

Not a bad beach but certainly not the best on the island. The sand is rather coarse and the sea very shallow. We didn't find any good snorkelling spots. Worth a stop on a tour of the island though.

Beautiful and quiet beach, with trees that provide a nice shade, a safety net in the water and basic facilities. Only one hotel is visible from the beach, the rest of the landscape is very pretty with only trees and mountains. The beach is shallow,...More

This is a decent beach, but the sand is coarse and the ocean floor is rocky. The beach by the Intercontinental is much better as far as a swimming beach is concerned. Do stop for a dip if driving around the island. The road has...More

We went there around 2:30pm during low tide and there was no water but rough corals. The beach is not beautiful and there's nothing to see.
