We stayed at a hotel in Kabira Bay for 5 nights and used it as a base for exploring the island. The bay itself is breathtaking and well worth a visit but it is worth noting that you aren't allowed to swim at this location. I suspect this is down to the very high volume of boat traffic. The beach... More

It is a very picturesque scenary, it is a very nice beach although it is not allowed to swim there. There is the possibility to take a glass bottom boat.

Beautiful colored waters and bay with small islands. Water changes color depending on depth and sunlight. We looked out on the waters from the lookout point above the glass bottom boats, then came back an hour or so later after lunch and checking out the black pearl shop. The water level had changed by a half meter or so and... More

Just like a pearl on the pacific ocean,Ishigaki island is full of sunshine, passion and energy. And in the all landmarks on this island.I love Kabira bay the most. This place is really beautiful ,the ocean in here is very clear and blue, and the sand is so white, you can even find some shell and hermit crab around here! I go to this... More

We took the boat ride, enjoyed the yummy ice-cream and we had a great time with my toddler walking around the bay after the boat ride, agree with some of the travelers that the marine creatures are quite little to view, just that we met a big sea turtle highlighted our ride. The Car park are quite full and many... More

This was as beautiful as the pictures we had seen before visiting. It was disappointing that you couldn't swim there as currents are too strong and the glass bottom boats go in and out from this point. However the island has plenty of amazing beaches to swim at. We didn't go on the boats, but I'm sure it was have... More

Turquoise waters, no pollution except too many tourist boats ruining the beautiful scene. Shallow waters that you can walk quite far out. Stop by for a Blueseal icecream cone after your visit to the bay.

When we arrived it was quite busy with people trying to park to avoid paying, there are 2 newish large car parks which for 1 hour its 200y. Or you can drive down a small road nearer the beach and park for free. Anyway, walked down to the beach itself which as you can read you cannot swim or go ... More
