From Sasebo Station, i took a bus to Tenkaihou. It takes about 50 mins-1 hour to reach the spot. The bus route was interesting. Going up on a narrow road with a breathtaking views of the seas at times. Those who easily get headaches, please be prepared cause the road is abit curvy and there's alot of turns. It's easy... There are 4 overlook of the kujukushima (99 islands). Tenkaiho is the closest one and more photographers choose to take sunset pictures here. Bring your camera and check the sunset time to plan your trip here.

We spent the whole morning just to visit there for 15mins. Scenary was beautiful! Do check the bus timing online or get the latest timetable from the bus terminal. We caught the 9.35am bus at No. 7 stop and took the same bus return departing 10.41am. If you miss the bus, you may need to wait for another hour and... More

We booked a cab to Tenkaiho & back to the train station as we were rushing back to Nagasaki. Cost us 6k yen. Do check with the Tourist info counter if you want to take the bus. The cab fare was worth it. View of the islands was magnificent.

More than an hour driving from nagasaki. So if it is only to go for this place. I would say. Don't go. As it is just a view with a flower garden next to it. If you are passing by it is surely worth it.

Thanks to the weather, we could enjoy such a peaceful time looking down Kujuku-shima while some hawks flying in the blue sky in font of us. It was a very unique view with many little islands floating on the ocean and a couple of sightseeing boats go around those islands. We only walked a few minutes to get the top... More
