There is a lot to do as far as outdoor activities are concerned. There is a Nordic walking course, frisbee golf and other things you can do.

The Phoenix lookout looked to be one of the best spot for photos, in particular beautiful sunny days. Wash board shape stone lines were impressive. One of Nature's wonders.More

Former site of APEC meeting. Nice hotel with huge rooms. Friendly staffs though with limited English. Time for a proper refurbishment as hotel looks dated. Very nice onsen facility. But location is fairly far from central Miyazaki town, average around Yen2500 one-way.More
