The ferry pier is located near Dolphin Port with about 5-7 mins walk. It was an ordinary small vehicular ferry and gave me a recall to the bigger one in Hong Kong when I was young. Very cheap fare for passengers who paid their fares Yen200 at Sakurajima ferry pier. You can

Beautiful vintage looking ferries with plenty of seating and even a ramen shop! There is a lift for people with disabilities but it is slow. Very fast and comfortable ride to the island
