This is a nice collection of Western art (Renoir, Munch, etc) as well as of Japanese art from the same period with which we had not been familiar. Well worth a few hours for art lovers.

We were lucky enough to be in Kagoshima when the Museum of Art was staging a Kuniyoshi exhibition. I like his style so won't say more other than I was very impressed. Lovely gallery - the small collection of impressionist paintings makes it much easier to see the differences and for me, the Dali is to die for. Cafe is very small but perfectly formed.

This small museum hosts a small but nice permanent collection of paintings and sculptures from Europe and Japan. The European collection focuses on the modern period, starting from Impressionism all the way to pop art.
