While on Sakurajima island, do drop by this one of it's kind park, if you fancy seeing a 'T-Rex' with a volcano backdrop. It's great for kids, but fun for adults as well as it brought back childhood nostalgia of dinosaurs.
Yes, I love dinosaurs. Who doesn't? I took pictures of all the dinosaur statues. Besides that there isn't much going on here. There weren't even any people until we left. It's cute but not the best thing on Sakurajima.

great place to be a kid again. climb on under and into dinosaurs. a short uphill walk from the ferry port, but well worth it. It is especially great if you have extra time while waiting for the next ferry.
How often do you get to see dinosaurs on a volcano?
This park is a must see at Sakurajima. It is walking distance away from the ferry terminal. But there is an uphill to climb unless you hire a taxi.
