So worth it. Make the effort to get there. The sand spa and Onsen afterwards were wonderful. We loved it. Such a wonderful warm feeling. Your body will thank you.

For the part where your buried in sand, no bathing suits required. They provide you with a yukata (Japanese robe like kimono). For the onsen (hot spring) you bath naked.
