Take the Shinkansen (bullet trains), the stop for Fukuoka will be at Hakata Station. Need to transfer to Gofukumachi Station. If you are going there for the Sumo tournament (we did!), I would recommend staying at the... More

Bus or taxi takes you to Kokusai Centre from Tenjin or Hakata station area. At 6 PM when sumo is finished, there's long queue to the bus stop, but you'll be able to catch a taxi if you walk 10 minutes. Sumo is held for 15... More
