Home of the Softbank Hawks (Japan's greatest baseball team), you can see hand molds from world famous celebrities whom have visited. The experience is always fun and there are nice shops closeby.

It's a dome....and we watched baseball. :) The Hawks weren't able to pull off the win but it was a nice stadium. We, of course, didn't really pre-plan so we ended up parking and walking quite a distance away (our own fault).

Attended a game and found the seating comfortable (I'm 6'2") for 4,000 yen. The fans are as rabid as the Tiger's fans and the beer ladies are always close by. I took a taxi from a hotel very near the JR station for 2,400 each...More

Getting to the Dome is easy by bus or subway. You can't help getting caught up with the crowds passion for the home town Hawks. The game was sold out but luckily my hotel concierge got me a great ticket on the first base line.

Was there during the Hawks finals and the sake drinking ceremony was just thrilling!! A must visit and they have a memorial museum in the dome itself.

Had a good tour of the stadium which involved going pitch side, into locker rooms, press area and having free photo using our own phone in team clothing. Guide spoke no English but was friendly and tried her best. Back up guide followed in supervision...More

If you're into baseball, then definitely this is for you. Since I'm not into baseball, I got curious since this is one of the recommended places to go in Fukuoka. I got to see what outside the dome looks like. Better check the inner part...More
