We enjoyed the experience as there were some interactive activities. My teenage boy enjoyed just fiddling with the helicopter, testing out the water-resistant on your car door, earthquake and wind experience. But be prepared that everything is in Japanese. We enjoyed it but if you...More

Coming here will give you a heads up in the dangers you may face in Fukuoka. I first found out about the local venomous spiders my first time in the center. People unfamiliar with disasters typical of Japan, especially, should come here. That includes foreigners...More

Fukuoka City Disaster Prevention Center. This is a small "museum" where you can experience an earth quake and a typhoon (without the water). I loved the experience. It might be scary for kids under 10.
