Canal City was a nice mall to shop at. There is a mixture of local boutique brands, familiar brands like Zara, H&M and Bershka as well as higher end brands like Diesel, Guess and Replay. Lots of seats available for shopping breaks and clean toilets. Do bring your coat if it's in the winter because you have to walk through... More

Canal city is a cool mall. There are many interesting shops. It is so huge that you may spend hours there without realizing. However, shopping here is a little more expensive than other shopping malls.

The architecture of this place is interesting. There are many gift shops around, but the place might be a bit confusing as it's split into various sections. It also houses the famous ichiran ramen place, a definite MUST TRY, for a unique and delicious dining experience. If you walk through this area, it'll take you to a shopping arcade and... More

We dine at one of the restaurant inside the Ramen stadium which was quite good, but otherwise the shopping mall is quite average in terms of layout. Although all the big outlets such as Zara, H&M, Muji are all there. I guess the water show is big draw for families with young kids.

Great little shopping complex with all kinds of stores: a 3 floor uniqlo, a duty free store filled with all kinds of Japanese goods, Daiso, Disney Store and one of my fave finds--Ryugi Assaku a style specializing in modern Japanese styled clothes and accessories (LOVED their bags and hoodies). There's also theaters, an arcade and all kinds of places to... More

Canal City is one of the many places in Fukuoka to shop at. It provides a lot of brand shops like H&M, Vans, and many others. The only thing about this place that we ran onto is that if you're looking for a formal dress, this really isn't a good place to go to. For men, they have a few... More

It felt like Sydneys David Jones or London s Liberty stores confusing located in several buildings. It has all the usual European labels. What can one say but same same.

This is a rather big shopping complex with big brands such as uniqlo, H&M and others. There are water and light show (with the one piece storyline) happening every hour at night. Not a bad place to shop if you are in Fukuoka to shop or after visiting the yatai stores.

I read somewhere that Fukuoka has, per capita wise, many shopping venues when compared to other cities. After visiting Canal City I can see why. This semi outdoor mall, which is about a 10 minutes walk from Hakata station, is huge and has everything you can think of. At night it's particularly interesting as the main area lights up with...
