The architectural concept embodying this elaborate shopping complex and business center is impressive and attractive. Unfortunately, my wife and I were not impressed by the establishments we looked into as we walked through. We were impressed only with what seemed to be needlessly high prices...More

This is 10 minutes from our hotel. Most shops sell japanese products. Some international shops like desigual. We went to a specialty coffee shop and they were promoting california wine for $500 yen a bottle. Just unbelievable! From here we walk along canal and took...More

The unique attraction is the canal running through the center of the building. Other than that nothing much for a person who doesn't fancy shopping. There's water fountain shows with light, sound, and graphics.

Ramen stadium is located at the 5th floor, there is a fountain show starting 6pm. It's a nice place to go shopping and located near Hakata station. Also, at night the Yatai food stalls are just 5 minutes walk from canal city along the river.

Just another mall with a man made ‘canal’ in the middle. Located in between subway stations so a bit of a walk. It ‘s a huge mall with many international retailers. I recommend heading out and visiting the public park right next to it and...More

There’re many shops inside. Since I’m not at all into shopping, they weren’t interesting to me. However, there’re some good eateries. For example, there’re different ramen places on the fifth floor. There’s also a tempura place which I didn’t have the opportunity to try. But...More
