The Fukuoka Castle ruins has been well preserved. There is not too much left to see around the area and is a bit of a hike to walk up however I think it's worth seeing.

Right near Ohori Park - there are only a few stone remnants, but beautiful tranquil grounds, lots of birdlife and flowers.

Set within the Ohori Park and next to the Ohori subway station. It consist of layers of wall, set in a garden atmosphere.

I went in May. Utter waste of time. Just some walls and stairs. View is nothing to shout about. Ohori Park is also boring.

Only one plus - this is only one traditional castle in Fukuoka. Only 2 buildings out if castle are still there. You can take good pictures, but there is nothing special
