We walked over to the Marine World after spending the morning cycling at the Uminonakamichi Park next door. Lunch at the Marine World's Cafe was very nice with a beautiful view of the aquarium, the food was nice and tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed the dolphin show....More

The marine world is baby friendly. We had a stroller and all sessions are easily accessible. The place is very clean. There are a vast variety of sea creatures and the dolphins show is a must see experience. It’s a bit pricy but I think...More

It’s a bit pricey but feels like a quality attraction. The show is good even if you don’t speak Japanese but we got there 30 mins before the showing at 11:30am and people were already bagging seats. There was a very long queue for lunch...More

This was not as impressive as the Okinawa Aquarium, but it was still worth the trip. More expensive than the Okinawa one too. This one was $22 for adults, I think. The one item this place had was the dolphin and sea lion show. The...More

Couldn't wait to get to this attraction. Mostly it didn't disappoint until we saw the dolphin show and realised that Pilot Whales were part of the entertainment. Sorry, I don't mind dolphins being kept in well-run captivity because I honestly DO believe they love the...More

The dolphin show is pretty good and isn't too long. Huge aquarium with lots of sharks, eels, turtles, etc. Well worth a couple of hours and is accessible by ferry or train.

Disappointing. Not really comfortable with trained animals, but found ourselves watching as it was the only place to get food. Very poorly serviced, hard to find anything to eat and it was along way from anywhere. Not much signage. Went by train and caught the...More

Marine World Umino-Nakamichi is a recently renewed aquarium. Although the entrance is relatively expensive (about $20), it is worthy to visit. The dolphin and sea lion show is a must-see. You need about two hours to take a look of the whole aquarium. If you...More

It is located around half an hour from city centre. It is located next to the railway station. The aquarium is not that large. The main attraction is the dolphin show. Outside the aquarium, there are several Sakura trees.
