“Best in the area, by far!”

This is my favorite temple in the area! For 500 yen you get to stroll around INSIDE all the structures and check out the unique gardens and landscapes. There are great views of Biwa and Otsu from the hillside and all in all there are thousands of photo opportunities here. Seriously underrated, especially compared to nearby shrines and temples. I'd HIGHLY recommend this one!!
