Visiting this park was the one and only complete waste of time, money and effort during all my travels in japan. Getting there as a non japanese is challenging, but doable. once there you pay 3100 admission, then you are required to pay for literally every attraction or buy an expensive free pass. However, the Diavolo roller coaster is a... More

Japanese zoos are often cramped and surrounded by urbanisation but Himeji Central Park Safari is spacious and good for the animals. At the petting zoo you can pet wallabies. If you want to hold guinea pigs they will be served to you in a wicker basket bowl, as per the Japanese way.

Highly recommended for families with small children. Children can get to touch and feed a lot of animals and the drive through safari was a real adventure for the children to see lions, tigers and zebra, etc up close. The amusement park has a lot of rides suitable for small children. Good value for money and can easily spend 4... More

The gardens are very good, immaculately maintained, and presented to the public in the best light that they can be. Unfortunately we were too early for cherry blossom season

I went here with the main intention of showing my daughter the various animals on display. The park itself is divided into three sections; the safari itself, a petting area, and a walk through safari. The entire park is based on a hill but is cleverly designed allowing people to walk downward through the park with a cable car returning... More

I visited Himeji Central Park with some friends in September 2015. It's a nice little park with a few rides, my favourite of which was Diavlo. The other looping coaster was terrifying but worth it for the thrills! They had an odd collection of other things like walk through mazes and horror attractions. They had some dog show thing which... Himeji Central Park is full of very interesting ride, including a strange Wild Mouse style rollercoaster. There is also a very good big arcade.

i have been to many safari parks in my time and my most pressing importance is the treatment and natural habitat of the animals, whilst the park is very lovely to look at and to explore the actual living conditions of the animals is to be questioned. there are clearly mentally ill animals there pacing back and forth in confined... It was a surprise to find such an interesting place nestled amongst the hills in Himeji. Kids and adults will enjoy a close encounter with the wild when they take the safari. We didn't spend time at the theme park. But the safari was a wonderful experience. The kids had a great time especially with the animal feedings. It's a... More
