Mt Fuji, Hakone, Lake Ashi Cruise and Bullet Train Day Trip from Tokyo

4,629 reviews
Navigating Japan’s public transport system can often be a daunting task. Let a guide do the work for you on this tour of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi by coach and bullet train, which saves you hours in travel time. Ascend to the Mt. Fuji’s 5th Station; ride on the Komagatake Ropeway, one of Japan’s highest aerial tramways; and take a cruise on Lake Ashi, part of Hakone National Park.

Running through Marunouchi, Otemachi,Yurakucho, Hibia Area, each area being very center of Tokyo, you can ride the bus service for free of charge.Having more than ten bus stops and the route being circular, you can take the bus at any stop and ride off.The bus comes at every ten to 15 minutes in day time.Recommendation as visiting Emper Palace, Otemachi Business Area, Palace Hotel, Hibiya Park and so on.Runnning area is small, so you can walk around the same area instead. If you reach Tokyo station and you want to take, go to New marunouchi Building, facade of building, along the street.Concern is that depending on time, traffic jam is expected.

This is operated by the companies in Marunouchi area, I think. The shuttle stops in front of many companies in turn, and the passengers can ride for free. Good service, but I think this shuttle runs in one way, so you must be careful for how many stops will be there until it reaches your destination -- your destination might be the previous stop and walking there might be quicker than going there by bus. I couldn't find any official Marunouchi Shuttle web site in English, but found a brochure made by one of supporter companies. http://www.marunouchi.com/pdf/e_en_02.pdf
