This free foot onsen is nice and relaxing, there is a slight sulphur smell from the hot spring water (which is normal for this source). Be sure to pack a small towel to dry your feet with, but one can be purchased just around the corner. I found the English signage wasn't great to find the shop; so when at the entrance facing the toilet block, head to the left side and turn right for the shop, it's a hotel, but they sell the towels. It would be possible to get here by bus for a quick soak, but unless you are staying over night probably not worth the effort.
