About
We run a kimono rental shop in Koedo Kawagoe.
Our shop features more than 300 garments for each season, made of traditional silk, hemp, and other natural fibers, ranging from antique to contemporary style. Our mission is to bring the experience of traditional Japanese artisanship to visitors from overseas at reasonable prices, starting at 2,000 JPY.
Come in just as you are for a casual kimono experience.
We also do kimono rental for Japanese wedding ceremonies, with hair, makeup, and coordinating included, and have a popular pre-wedding photo course option. We are fully-prepared for a wide range of kimono-related activities, from coming-of-age ceremonies and Shichi-Go-San for children, to transformation courses to make you into a samurai, geisha, maiko (apprentice geisha), and more. Kawagoe outdoor photo and in-studio photo courses are also available.
Our well-trained staff offers beautiful, professional dressing assistance, hairstyling, and total coordination.

The shop has a nice location, between bus stop and the main street of Kawagoe, not difficult to find. There are a lot of Kimonos and accessories for you to choose. The ladies are very friendly and helpful, they were able to communicate with us in simple English. I highly recommend the hair styling service, they were very good at it.

I found this place by chance. The service is excellent, have a lot of choices of Kimono. I was asking them where can I buy roasted sweet potato as she can’t speak much English so she can’t tell me where to buy it when I came back to return Kimono she bought the roasted sweet potato for me !! :)
