Since my daughter loves cats, i've now enjoyed five or six in Tokyo and this is my first in Yokohama. This one is pretty good. The place is fairly heavily staffed and with a lot of cats, more so than other cat cafe's. It's in a very open space, super clean, sofa's, a bar. I guess there are about a dozen cats which seem a bit more friendly than other cat cafe's. As often is the case, there is ONE CAT which you are warned that bites - so, it freaks you out throughout the experience which one it is. Why in the world don't they just get rid of these biters? Anyway, it was a lovely experience nonetheless. My daughter is a six-year-old autistic child so i realize that we attract attention more so than others, but they handled it quite well. As always, there are 1,001 rules and we broke about 999 of them, none intentionally, so i guess we deserved a few warnings. but i would suggest this place if this is what you're looking for, and you're in Yokohama. BTW - i noticed a really novel artsy movie theatre about 100 meters away from the cafe, so the combination of the two might make for a lovely afternoon, and there's a nearby walking street with restaurants. So, get the address in Japanese, start with the cats, and then wander around from there, should be good fun. and slower pace that tokyo.

Cool place with a lot of well mannered cats. They have an English menu for their foreign costumes. It's 1,300 for 70 minutes which comes with a drink, even though it is a cafe don't expect to eat here.

Although I wish we had come at a better time, since we came before closing, we still had a great experience. The staff was friendly, and inviting. We could go for the whole 90 minute minimum since they closed in an hour, but it was still work the cost. The cats were kind of sleepy, but some of them were active and playful. Most of them didn't really like their backs pet and would hunch down away from your hand, so sticking to the face area is best for giving love. They are all strays from the streets, but i was unable to communicate if they were adoptable or not. You get a really good tea or coffee here with creme. that even comes with a cute cup cover so the cats and hair do not get in! I was able to buy a postcard at the end with a picture of one of the cats as well. Must try when in Yokohama. And there was no wait!

You can choose from a menu of "packages" if you will for the length of time you want to spend with the kitties and all packages come with a hot drink or juice of your choice. This is a great place to visit if you're looking for something relaxing and off the beaten path of most touristy places. Facility was very clean and staff was so friendly. Kitties, of course, are awesome just because cats!
