A typical high rise viewing platform. However Yokohama has a surprisingly impressive skyline which on a clear day you can see Tokyo. There is an extensive gift shop and a bar so you can chill out and enjoy the view with a beer. Good value.

The views were great, altough Mt. Fuji stayed hidden. The tower is right on the water so the view of the ocean is phenomenal. Depending on the weather you can see for miles even to Tokyo Tower. My wife keeps taking me up these towers.

It is a little pricy but the views are nice and everything is labeled above the window so you know what you are looking at. There is a small bar on the viewing deck and a gift shop. The only other thing to see is...More

I stayed at the hotel in this building. The views from the 70th floor were excellent. The attached mall was a typical mall.

You can see (and navigate by) this tower from anywhere in the area. It holds the Royal Park Hotel and is connected to a shopping corridor with dozens of shops and cafes. The Hard Rock Hotel and McDonald's are present here, along with other familiar...More

Ideal itinerary for 10 days 9 nights in Japan? (1 Replies)
We will be traveling to Japan for 10 days 9 nights and this is our first time to Japan. We plan to visit Tokyo, Kyoto, Himeji, Osaka and Nara. We would like to seek your advice whether is the itinerary practical for us. 27/12 – Arrive Tokyo (Haneda) at 11.00 PM. Plan to take Bullet train to Kyoto directly. ( Any mid night train to Kyoto?) 28/12 – Day trip around eastern Kyoto such as Ginkakuji, Philisopher’s path, Nanzenji, Keage Incline, Heian Shrine, Kodaji, Higashiyama Atreets,...More

2-3 hour evening in Minato Mirai (2 Replies)
I'll be doing a daytrip from Tokyo to Enoshima during my stay and someone suggested stopping at Minato Mirai for a couple hours on the return trip, since it's en-route. I've been here before, but only during the day and from what I see and read the night views are spectacular. Given 2-3 hours after sundown, what should I do or where should I go to see the best views? A stroll down Kishamichi Promenade? Up Landmark Tower? Both?
