Yokohama is small city compared to Tokyo, but it has its own charm and beauty. There are equally posh & trendy shopping malls in Yokohama city. Try skybass for adventurous ride in Yokohama sea, go to Brick House Mall for dining by skybass, go to Daiso (100 Yen) store, one of the best attraction of Yokohama.

We were the only ones on our boat. Nice evening cruise around Yokohama. Very scenic. Would ride again.

Nice way to view Yokohama Skyline (budget option) from a small boat. I especially recommend you to go in the evening (almost at closing time) as there will be just few people in it and you can enjoy a clear view.

A great ride from Yamashita Park to Yokohama Station and the price is right. When you get off you're in the middle of a huge shopping/eating area. Not many places like this in the world.

Most of Yokohama's landmarks are conveniently located on the water, and also conveniently operating on the water is the Seabass boat! Take the Seabass from Yokohama Station to Minato Mirai, and then to Yamashita park. You'll be able to see and travel to the main landmarks in style!

Get the ferry from Yokohama Station (signs in English or ask the free tourist desk) and get off at Yamashita Park. Fantastic views of Yokohama Bay, giving you a perspective of the Japan's second biggest city from the water. The park is a lovely little spot, manicured to perfection. This is a great starting point for a good walk back... More

An inexpensive method of getting a nice view of Yokohama bay, and also a refreshing area breeze in the hot summer. Take the boat from Yokohama bayside (signposted from inside Yokohama station), to Aka Renga or Yamashita park, or vice versa.

There are several options to cruise in Yokohama bay. Sea bass (why not sea bus?) is cheaper compare others because they cruise inner bay and short distance. Unlike other cruise boat, their vessel is simple, shorter and no fancy meal nor drink. But it is very enjoyable; gives magnificent view of Yokohama on the water.

Our family of four (two boys ages 5 and 7) decided to ride from the red brick building to Yamashita Park and back. There's not a round-trip plan; we bought one way tickets twice (and enjoyed walking around the park before the return trip). Was simple, fun, well-marked, comfortable and affordable. If you have JAF (or maybe even AAA or... More

This is a boat shuttle service between Yamashita Park and the Bayquarter Building at Yokhama station. It is just a 15 minute trip, but well worth it, especially in the evening, when you can see the skyline of Yokohama well. It is basically some kind of public transportation, so not expensive. Even on rainy days it is worth to take... More
