it took about 20 minutes from main street in Hakone-yumoto station. 30-40 min from from the station itself. and this falls is located behind a big hotel and you can't see those falls from street. I don't remember there was any sign to lead you to the area that you could be missed.beside this falls, there is a small shrine and soooo quiet and feel so relaxed to be there.
touching cold clear water and I feel calm at the moment. I would visit there again if I have chance to stay at hakone in future.

This garden is just behind Tenseien. Nice garden with waterfalls to stroll around after your meal. There is a shrine whereby you have climb the stairs to reach. Very peaceful. You can also feed the koi and ducks with feeds that sell at 100yen. It was lighted up in the evening, very nice.

We wandered in the gardens and found the waterfall after checking out at Tenseien. It was surprisingly nice as we were able to see a ray of sunlight making a rainbow with it. Come and check it out if you are staying at this side of the town but don't bother otherwise.

We visited here after trying to reach another falls and having difficulty with bus schedules. The falls are small, but the area is gorgeous and relaxing. A shrine and gardens and ponds are nearby, all behind the Tenseien hotel. The greeter at the information station at the trains station was unfamiliar with it.

We stayed in Tenseien hotel and there are 2 waterfalls behind the hotel. It's very relaxing to hang around this area. This is the Hotel's garden area as well and there is also a shrine going up above the waterfalls. The place is cool, relaxing and peaceful.

Stayed at the hotel and this is effectively the rear garden area. Nice outlook and great to go to sleep at night to the sound of the waterfalls

This is a beautiful park just like all parks in Japan. Loved the way the place was set up with different level tiers so you can enjoy multiple levels of the falls

I was trying to find temples close by our ryokan and went here not knowing what I would find and it was just a lovely little spot behind a big hotel.

I first tried to go to this spot at sunrise, only to find the gate locked. Seems it opens at 8:00 am. We came back the next day, and got in. A nice shrine and of course, falls. Quite enjoyable.
