If you are aware of this store I do not have to tell you about the other store in Ikebukuro. That store has a greater variety of items but this one has a snack shop and stocks some branch-exclusive items. I visited both stores during my trip but I felt the quality of their merchandize was not as nice as before it relocated from Harajuku. If you are a fan of the anime check it out but lower your expectations.

My husband and daughter are big fans, we realized later that this may be the town the movies were set in...a few collectibles were purchased!

I bought like 4 different things from this place. Shirts, little pins, wooden charms, bento boxes, glasses cases, EVA-unit figures, towels, those cotton drape thingies that people frame, cups..yeah these are the main things they have at this store. Needless to say I geeked out here and spent a good amount of time browsing around trying to decide what to buy. Some shirts are Hakone themed so I assume that they're exclusive to this store. Some other things are exclusive too but I'm not sure what. Also, they have purple/green ice cream that's hella thick, creamy, and delicious, though a bit pricey at 350 yen for a cup (taro and green flavored I believe). It wasn't THAT crowded when I was there (at 3 pm) and was practically empty the 2nd time (at 9 am). Basically, if you like Evangelion, do NOT pass up this store.
