Love those high tech vending machines and exclusive coffee
Really enjoyed the expensive but special ¥900 vending machine special “Origin” coffee from Tanzania and Ethiopia at Ebina SA. Of course this first major rest stop on the Tomei expressway going out of Tokyo has much, much more, but it is these little touches that catch the eye and your heart or taste buds, only in Japan? Check it out if you are on the road and want a truly unique taste and experience. Of course the machine has a video explaining things, and talks to you as well.

Worth making this pitstop a destination.

Inbound highway stop. This place has very good food options. A full supermarket. A Starbucks. Food options are overwhelming. Higher end bentos dinner boxes, BBQ eels, premium ice cream.... can't lose visiting this stop.

また行きます!(*^_^*) Traffic jams of accidents also overlapped on this day, and it was very crowded. There were plenty of food court shops that I would like to eat, but there was not any place to sit. I think whether it is good if there are more seats. I think it would be nice to have family-friendly seats. I will go again! (* ^ _ ^ *)

Probably the best highway rest stop in the world

Seriously, this rest stop (or "service area" in Japanese) can make it as a stand alone food court in any mall or shopping complex. The food stalls here is of high quality, and represent the best of Yokohama and area, such as the famous China town, ice cream, melon bread etc. for those hungry travelers going back to Tokyo. It is obvious that families would eat or bring back high quality dinners to eat at home. I personally buy some Chinese buns, korokke or curry bread to munch on, and buy a bunch of different types of melon bread for breakfast the next day for the family. Fun stuff. The rest stop going out of Tokyo is smaller, but also high quality, focusing on Tokyo based morning travel. Great place to catch a bite in the morning, or buy the last minute "omiyage" for your friends or family you're travelling to.

Outstanding

Very impressive. Been to a lot of the SA and PA in Japan. By far this is the very best. If you come there for a quick visit or stay up to a few hours. Totally worth it. 1st floor is prepared food good for those on bus tours and travelers wanting a quick eat. 2nd floor is more restaurants and plenty of seating.

This place has souvenir shops and lots of restaurants to choose from. We only purchase steamed buns from Pao Pao and it was delicious. Will recommend for travellers who wants to dine in.

Great place to eat
We stop at Ebina service area for lunch. We had ramen and we purchase tokyo banana for dessert. It very popular. Its a kind of cake with banana creme filling inside, taste so good. Don't forget to drop by at Baskin Robbins for ice cream and crepes, they have excellent varieties. A must try.

Nice Tantanmen
The place is big enough and convenient. Many good restaurants there. I bought Tantanmen at one of the restaurant. I forget the name of the restaurant but it starts with "Iro...". But be careful, this tantanmen is spicy.
