品の良い空間

元水戸市長の故佐川一信さんが私費で創られた水戸市内の私立図書館です。
現在も公費を受けずファミリーの方が経営されています。
クラッシック音楽関係の蔵書・CDが中心で会員になると借りることが
できます。建物内で本を読んでいるとスタッフの方がお茶をいれてくれます。
建物も賞を受賞するほど素敵です。
お庭はいつ訪問してもお手入れが完璧で美しいです。
年３回サロンコンサートを開催していて国内外の実力派音楽家の演奏が
安価に鑑賞できます。演奏後はワインとコーヒーのサービスがあり細やかな
おもてなしに感動します。

イメージでは私設図書館という感じです、入館料も安いですし、お茶がいただけます。施設はとても工夫されています、図書、音楽の鑑賞がたのしめる

音楽を聴いたり、静かにくつろぐ穴場！

市民でも、知っている人は少ないです。音楽を演奏する友人に連れられて訪問。図書館の様な建物と中。音楽が聞こえて来ます。￥200位で、お茶を頂きました。クラシックのコンサートも、常時開催されているとの事。外に出て、庭を眺めてました。静かに過ごした時間です。

超穴場の私設図書館！？

水戸市郊外の畑地のなかに立地。
主要道からも逸れた場所にある。
いつ訪れても来場者は少なく静か。
入館すると、スタッフの方が、日本茶を用意してくださる。
有料（２００円）にて、珈琲をいただく事も出来る。
書籍読書、音楽鑑賞、映像鑑賞を楽しめる。
また、芝生のきれいな庭やホールにて、自前の飲食をする事も出来る。
時間がある時に、音楽を聴き、書籍のページをめくりながら、ゆっくり過ごしたい場所である。

音楽好きにおすすめの空間

水戸滞在中によくしてくださった方に連れられて訪れたこちらの施設。音楽が好きだと言う自分に気を遣ってくださったのでしょうが、正直水戸にこんな大人の空間があるなんて意外でした。
庭の眺望も美しく蔵書も自分好み。お気に入りの空間のひとつになりました。

クラシックCDのコレクションとホール併設

1993まで水戸市長をなされ地方行政に新たな風雲を起こし、県知事選に立たれのち1995に55歳で逝去された佐川氏の遺志を継いで2000年に設立された施設文庫です。膨大なCDコレクションの公開や、併設ホールで多彩な音楽イベントも開催されています。水戸芸術館事業を推し進められた方だけあって立派です。

元水戸市長佐川氏の施設図書館及びホール

故佐川一信（さがわ　かずのぶ）氏は、1984年から93年まで第16代水戸市長を務めた方で、佐川文庫は、氏の蔵書とCDを基に作られた私設図書館である。休館日の月曜以外は、10時から17時の開館で、館内での閲覧、鑑賞は無料。貸し出しは、3冊、3枚まで、期間は2週間まで。市南西部郊外にあるので、とても静かな一方、交通の便はたいへん悪く、車は必須。
また、月１回のペースで、若手演奏家による室内楽コンサートをホールで開催している。
