On Sunday afternoon it was very quiet in the square in front of the JR Narita Station. The information centre was open and the staff was eager to help.

The information centre is located at JR Narita station east exit. The representatives at the centre speak English and very helpful and informative. They have many maps and local area information are provided for tourism spots, sightseeing as well as necessary transportation related information.

If you see a circled “i” logo, it’s a Visitor/Tourist Information Centre. It’s worth dropping in and ask whatever you want to know. Japanese people are generally polite and helpful.
