Located in The Former Takasabuto Natori Store, the building is one of the designated historic landmarks of Otaru City. Now occupied by the Otaru Taisho Glass Palace, this place is filled with lovely pieces of glass works. Very creative and beautiful. Great for memories and souvenirs.

You could not take any pictures in this building. There were really a series of buildings along the small canal that all had similar glass items. Mostly small tourist items but also many more expensive pieces. Fun to walk through.

Very lovely to visit and see all of the beautiful glass workmanship of many items. I bought a beautiful glass fountain pen that you are allowed to test before buying, when bought they wrap it up beautifully for it's journey home. The museum upstairs is a must to see. We also had tea and a dessert in the restaurant upstairs.

This was my favorite glass shop in Otaru. It was different from the others & I loved the outer space theme. I bought two things from here & would definitely buy more if I didn't already have too many souvenirs. >_> There were so many beautiful things.

We found a huge selection of one of a kind soyu bottles made of fine cut glass. We brought a beautiful blue and pink one home as a memory of our trip.
