This is s well preserved part of Otaru old warehouse with the train track inside the building. You can have a beer or coffee inside the cafe with huge chandeliers. It’s cosy and peaceful inside the cafe. The architecture is so well preserved, it’s like...More

Depends if you want to buy anything that is glass. A lot of ornaments to buy and drinking glasses and lamps. We were disappointed not to actually see items being made.

I was most impressed with this upscale resort having "exotic wildlife" on its property! This resort has many restaurarnts on property offering an array of dining experiences. The ones we sampled were very good. If you are a "nature enthusiast", bring a camera with a...More

This place has only the oil lamps to illuminate the whole cafe/restaurant. It is quite romantic but it takes sometime for your eyes to settle. The menu is average and price quite reasonable, excellent place to take a break and relax.

This places has multiple levels of glass shops in one building. All of the items are gorgeous, of course. You cannot take photos, which I really wanted to do. They had glass dollhouses - one Japanese style, one huge Victorian style - which are worth...More

Plenty of glassware choices, this place is probably the main retail glassware collection in Otaru. Got myself a few glasses that changes colour according to water temperature (pretty cool! :D)..glasses were even decorated with snowy winter or flowering summer landscape!
