This particular shop has a larger web presence, but there actually are numerous little shops along these streets. I really liked Kitaichi, though. They had great glass dishes and decorations. I'd buy something again just to watch them wrap it!

This attraction was mostly a very large glassware shop selling all sorts of glassware, from lamp to jewellery. There is a small glass blowing workshop across the road where visitors can watch the artisans at work, but the workshop would fit perhaps 10 people at most, while the retail shop took up at least 3 units. There were 2 cafes... More

If I had more money to spend, I would have probably liked this place a lot more. The glassware is beautiful, and the price reflects that. The salespeople were pushier than the other shops I'd been in, but were very knowledgeable about the different products and the techniques used to create the items. Easily spend an hour here just browsing. If you like home decor or hosting dinners or buying small gifts, must visit this shop (they have many branches in town but this is the best).

This is a must visit if like glassware. It's a big building with a couple small shops and deli shops in the building. The restaurant is really beautiful serving both main and desert dish.

Beautiful handicraft, loved the sake sets especially. Nice limited edition seasonal pieces for gifts. Not cheap but not likely to get similar elsewhere.

Plenty of glassware to choose from, price is reasonable, packaging was very good. We bought a couple of cups which can change color when pouring hot water
