Disappointed with this michi no eki. Restrooms are good. No exhibits or local produce or gift store. This is the gateway to the Akan International Crane Center, and you walk through the building and on to the Center. We say no cranes at the michinoeki. It is about 3 and a 1/4 hours from Sapporo on the Doto expressway. Visited Feb 20, 2018

As a Roadside Station, this is a super small minimalist operation. They have a small information booth, plus clean washrooms. It also accommodates a small food kiosk where they sell some drinks, ice cream and snacks, including local corns. This Roadside Station works as the gateway to Akan International Crane Centre that is a few minutes away through the Roadside Station building. There is no usual market place for local products. It is located on the other side of Highway 240 as "Akan Marche."
