Saw lots of kids totally enjoying themselves at the sky park. Lots of areas for the kids like a library, workshop area, photo studio with lots of Doraemon characters, a shop, a playground and a cafe.

Wonderland for the kids indeed!

My 6-year old son loves it and we took a lot of pictures. They are now doing a promotion until March 2020 with a purchase of 10000 yen from selected shops, they will offer you free admission tickets.

I went here to try the food. The place is not that huge but kids would definitely have fun here. I would have given it a 5 but the taste of the food is not suitable for me. However, the food presentation was great!!!

Magical 3D perspectives like a playland for both adults and children.

I included photos below so you can see the effect. So much fun and can easily spend an hour or more inside.

Buy a stamp book if you want to collect stamps inside.

Entrance fee for adult is 800 yen each.

Must visit when at Chitose Airport.

I have good memories of Doraemon, so i was excited little bit until arrive.

But most of them was closed (due to earthquake?). And I disappointed.

One thing delighted me was library, which made me nostalgic.

I would rate it 5 stars if I was a Japanese. But as a foreigner, i can’t. It totally ruined my childhood memories. We went there just before leaving Sapporo. Doremon is my favorite cartoon when I was a little girl. I was more excited than my kids to see a place like this in the airport. While, turned out, the experience was horrible because of the customer service. First, they assume you don’t speak English and underestimate your language ability. So you have to purchase a ticket to accompany your kids even they’re old enough without any companion according to their policy. To me this is quite assaulting. I planned to get in, but was not pushed to get the ticket. So I had to tell her we were from California and we speak English! This is really awkward. Then we got in and I was really really excited to meet all my childhood ‘friends’ inside. It was really cute. Unfortunately, bad experience came right after. My 2-y-o somehow got upset and cried badly. I tried to calm him down, but failed. So I had to get out to give him to my mom who stood right next to the exit. I tried to explain to the girl without glasses( there were only 3 staff - one girl with glasses, one without and one guy around 11:20am on Aug 14) She said,’ no, you can’t come back if you get out.’ So I had to keep explaining that I don’t want my upset boy interrupt other visitors and it’s kind of annoying. It was awkward again anyway. Then my mom saw me and came closer to the exit. So I handed my boy to her. Then the girls said ok with a really cold face. No typical nice smile like she had to other Japanese visitors. ????? After watching a 5 minutes in Japanese language only show, it was finally our favorite part - pocture with Doremon. I saw the girl taking multiple pictures for the visitors on their phone. So I asked her to take two pictures while it was out turn, but she said no. I thought she disn’t Understand me, so I said ‘type twice’. But she answered, ‘no, one only!’ What’s wrong with her? We never have this experience before. We visited all different theme park around the world, from Disney world, Hollywood studio, Legoland, to Tivoli garden in Copenhagen or kids world in Osaka. All the staff were happy to help us take pictures or whatever help they could offer. What a place is this! Compared to their next door, Hello Kitty, they were mother. We had a really really good experience there the day before. All the girls there were nice with beautiful smile. Even some of them could barely speak English, they were amber rude! Anyway, don’t go inside if you don’t want to ruin your entire trip. Or try to avoid the show if you don’t speak Japanese. At least I saw a family did that. Annoying place with rude female staff! Or they just don’t care because you might be only there once in your life time.

A nice and simple park good for family with young children. There are some interesting trick art which make good photos. We managed to catch a show with life size Doraemon but it was all in Japanese. There was a gift and souvenirs shop selling all Doraemon stuff, a cafe, library, a play area for young children. We spent some time at the workshop painting a doraemon figurine. A good souvenir and good memory.

Good place to spend an hour or so if you are in transit. Here there’s the merchandise shop, a cafe selling Doraemon shaped Japanese pancake, library with Doraemon comics and a workshop where one can paint clay figurines.

For the really young ones there's a kids play area, entirely free of charge!

There is a stretch of concourse hallway in the airport that extends from Royce Chocolate Shop, to Hello Kitty and then to Doraemon Wakuwaku Sky Park. If you have kids then you are bound to find something along here they will like. The Sky Park looks well done with lots of activity centers for kids. Not having kids with us we just strolled on by.
