Saw lots of kids totally enjoying themselves at the sky park. Lots of areas for the kids like a library, workshop area, photo studio with lots of Doraemon characters, a shop, a playground and a cafe.

Had about 1.5 hours to stroll around Chitose Airport. Enjoy miso ramen at her 'ramen street' corner before going around the airport for fun time.
Certainly nice mini park when visiting the bigger park in Kanto area is not possible. There is specific meet Doraemon time, do check with the reception before buying your ticket. There is English homepage available also, please check in there too.
Have camera handy, lots of photo-taking time and a few play area soon after you enter the park.
Doraemon fan will definitely find this park, thoroughly fun.

If you love doraemon, this is definitely the place for you and the kids. Though I was all alone, I enjoyed taking a look around. I'm not a huge fan of doraemon but its just absolutely cute in general. Not to mention there is a doraemon themed cafe. I think its probably one of the cutest places to kill time, especially when you've had a 14-18 hour layover in Chitose haha.
They also had a mini photo area as well as a mini arcade and gift shop all themed with doraemon : )

Doraemon is the cartoon characters in our childhood memory. It is still a popular character for our kids! The facility there reminds us the great tools by Doraemon, and we do have fun playing with them!

Didn't expect there is such a Doraemon sky park at New Chitose airport terminal. 600yen entrance fee. Interesting pictures or objects for you to take fun photos with your favourite cartoon characters. A "live" Doraemon will come out from the pink door for a meet and greet session. You are allowed to take just one photo with the pet. Its fun to visit.

Had some extra time so came here for a quick stop. Kids had a good time here. Also beware of renting Telecom Square mobile wifi device from the International Arrival area their device are Super Super slow and RARELY worked really wasted a lot of money here BEWARE BEWARE DO NOT RENT MOBILE WIFI DEVICE FROM TELECOM SQUARE IN THE INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL AREA!

We arrived early after a 7 hours and 20 minutes flight and had plenty of time before the permissible hotel check-in in Sapporo. We decided instead to explore the airport terminal to kill the time. It was not a waste since there were so much to go and see at the New Chitose Airport(CTS) The first thing that attracted our attention was the Doraemon play area filled with anything about it. I just wished they my grandchildren were with me to enjoy this children's character displayed in the best possible ways. There were plenty for children to go and enjoy here. Even adults took great interest in the park.

My 6-year old son loves it and we took a lot of pictures. They are now doing a promotion until March 2020 with a purchase of 10000 yen from selected shops, they will offer you free admission tickets.

There is a stretch of concourse hallway in the airport that extends from Royce Chocolate Shop, to Hello Kitty and then to Doraemon Wakuwaku Sky Park. If you have kids then you are bound to find something along here they will like. The Sky Park looks well done with lots of activity centers for kids. Not having kids with us we just strolled on by.

Must visit for Doraemon lovers, plenty of merchandise for sales.
