Our last trip 2 years ago was memorable for the large range of stores, discounts in the post- new year period and unfortunately it’s become a ghost town with many retail shops vacant. Polo Ralph is now gone. Won’t be back in a rush
A 100 yen shop selling high quality home stuff worth to have a look and buy stuff
Also there is shop selling heath product and cosmetics but price is not particular low
A small food court there but not have too many choice....More
It would be great to drop by to get some stuff during the winter time.... the price here is cheaper for winter wear and so on.
We took the free bus service from the airport.
We then take the rapid train from Rera to Sapporo.
Most tourists spent the last day here before departure.
It could be rush if you have things to buy. Need time to shop to get value buy.
Unless you know what you need it will take tine to shop around.
Good to spend a day...More
There's a free shuttle bus from the airport to this shop[ping area.
There are lots of branded apparel shops , offering good discounts as the people traffic are sparse.
You can take your time to shop, try and browse with good sales service.
For those looking for branded goods but missed getting them in town, RERA Oulet Mall is your saviour. There are hundred of outlets selling branded goods. You can spend the whole day here as the oulet is spread over a large compound.
This is the worst outlet mall that I had ever in Japan. Very limited shops, and lots of those are unknown brand by the tourist, and the products look really out-fashion as well. As we just returned our rental car right next to this mall,...More

Yes. Parking is free but shopping is not. The mall is not that big. You can walk around. Unlike other Outlet in the US, you need to use your car to move from zone to zone within the outlet mall.

Hi, My family of 7 (2A, 3C and 2 old folks) will be travelling to Hokkaido on 4 - 12 Jun 2012. I have drafted the itinerary, based on several input and advices in this forum. Day 2 (5 Jun): Day trip out to Lake Toya (by train). Day 3 (6 Jun): Pick up rental car from Sapporo and drive up...More

Sorry, few more questions. 5. I don't have many plans in Asahikawa, Sounkyo, Biei and Furano. Any suggestion will be great! 6. Is it possible tocan pass by Niki for cherry blossom on way to Lake Toya? Or pass any of these - Cape Kamui, Mt. Yotei, Niseko, Hell Valley Promenade and Oyunuma before going down south to Toya? Or should some of these be done only when I move to Noboribetsu the day after? Thanks once again.
Please critique my 8-day Hokkaido Itinerary (6 Replies)
Good evening, we will be visiting Hokkaido for 8 days in August. I have done some research and came up with the itinerary below. Could you please advise if there is anything I should add/remove? My wife and I like to maintain a balance e.g trying to immerse in local culture and activities but remember to relax as well. Thanks! P.S. I thought about visiting another city (flying to Tokyo or Osaka from Hokkaido) and visiting for a couple of days but decide to stay put, for a number of...More

Using Sapporo as a base for the first part of the itinerary means a lot of driving back and forth and you have to face city traffic and parking issues. On day 2 you don’t need a whole day for the Rera Outlet Mall whereas day 4 is too packed. To be able to observe the sea of clouds in Unkai Terrace you need to be there real early – preferably between 5.00 and 6.00. That means you may have to start driving at 3.00 in the morning if you base yourself in Sapporo! What’s more, to go for Furano and...More
