It’s unfortunate but clearly this mall hasn’t recovered from COVID yet. It seems at least 2/3 of the mall is empty and only 1-2 stalls are open in the food court. If you have tons of time before boarding at Chitose, you can make a brief stop, otherwise much better going to the Mitsui outlet closer to Sapporo.

This shopping area is built aka like a typical American style factory, e.g. Woodbury Commons, NY. Like the american ones, there are many branded stores. There is a big area dedicated to children's wears. If you are into shopping, this is the place.

I took the free shuttle from the airport after checking in to the Air Terminal Hotel as this rainy day discourages any outdoor visits.

Tip: The free shuttle picks passengers up from Bay 30 and the far end bus stop, after the police station, at the domestic terminal and also at the intetnational terminal. Two services are available hourly; i.e. 15 & 45 past the hour at Bay 30. Return from Rera is 5 and 35 pass.

I'm not so sure about all the negative reviews about this outlet. This year we've been to HK, KL, NY including Woodbury premium outlets and I can say that shopping here for us trumped all of the above. Who wants the ridiculous crowds of Woodbury or HK? It was actually fantastic to be able to wander around freely. And we thought the range of shops would be suitable for the typical family. If you're looking for high end Armani, Prada or Hugo Boss, you're not going to find them at most factory outlets around the world anyway. Not to mention a free 7min shuttle ride from the airport. Woodbury is an hour away from NYC just to put things in perspective.

Some gems for us today :
- Coach had about 50% off the entire store plus an additional 30% discount
- Polo Ralph had a few racks of clothes 80-90% off. We actually bought much more here than at Woodbury
- range of shoes in ABC mart was amazing
- Franc franc had great stuff at good prices for the house
- Gap was ridiculously cheap

The food hall wasn't amazing but who goes to a factory outlet to eat a gourmet meal? It's got something for everyone and if not, there are a few cafes, a ramen place and family mart to satisfy you.

Love this place, will happily come back in future to spend a few happy hours of shopping.

This Outlet Rera is close to the New Chitose Airport and JR Minami-Chitose station. The airport offers free shuttle bus service to and from the outlet. The ride takes only about 10 minutes so this is a good place for one to go crazy shopping before catching planes. If you get off at JR Minami-Chitose station, the outlet is simply within 5-10 minute walking distance.

There are lots of brands in the outlet, including Coach, North Face, Lego, Gucci, Hush Puppies, H/H, Pet Paradise, and many sports brands. Some shops, in addition to the in-store discounts, also gives out coupon cards with additional discount to visitors.

The food court in the outlet is very big with lots of food choices. The outlet also provides lockers and free wifi service, and it is pet-friendly and hence it is a good place for hanging out with families and pets.

Don't forget to ask for discount coupons at the information counters!

Went in a tour group of 4 coaches. Was looking forward to shopping spree. Bought only local beer and sweets! Have free WiFi at certain spots. We spent 2-3 hours there.
This is huge shopping area of single-story individual shops connected to each other. Some selling famous brands (but limited), sporting, outdoor and interior goods such as Max & Co, Escada, Brooks Brothers, GAP, Hush Puppies, Edwin. Also some food outlet.
I think this outlet caters mainly for Japanese. Only certain shops have VAT refund. I wouldn't want to visit this place again as a tourist as there are more interesting places to visit and shop. There are no Burberry, Prada, Hermes, LV, SK2 shops here. There is a Burberry Blue Label (also Black Label for men) outlet at 2nd floor of Daimaru shopping centre, connected to JR Sapporo Station. Bought a handbag and got VAT refund 100% back at 7th floor. SK2 at Daimaru is expensive since no VAT refund. Bought them cheaper at Chitose International Airport departure lounge but be careful of the 100mls limit per unit if you transit to change aircraft at another airport. Ask before you buy.

Our last trip 2 years ago was memorable for the large range of stores, discounts in the post- new year period and unfortunately it’s become a ghost town with many retail shops vacant. Polo Ralph is now gone. Won’t be back in a rush

It is located near JR Minami Chitose Station, and the entrance is just 5mins walk from the station.

I am not "premium" brand kind of person, hence can't comment on the brand and price. However , there are quite a few shops selling outdoor brands like Columbia, Northface and sport brand like Adidas. We bought 2 Adidas fleece jacket at bargain price.

I do think it is a good place to drop by upon arriving at Hokkaido if you need some winter clothing since it is just one station away from airport.

A good place to spend sometime. A outlet mall with many Designer brands. If you're looking for winter clothing at the end of March this is good place to visit. Many shops are trying to get rid of their inventory to make room for summer wear. Some place have 75-80% discounts.

Good if you have couple hours to spend. The outlet mall closes at 7pm and last shuttle to airport is 7:05pm. Quite a few shop sells kids stuff. Some shops do not offer tax free. Bring passport for tax free shops.

Didn't get any good deal even with voucher printed online. Not a very good place to visit plus the food court food are expensive and don't taste good.
