I am not a big fan of Ramen but the options of hot ramen in winter is Niceeee......
plus a nice tall glass of smooth SAPPORO beer!

Best ramen shops from all of Hokkaido

One location with numerous ramen shops to choose from. All make ramen with slight taste differences, so select one and try it out! Most take credit cards, non-smoking, alcohol available.

Portion size is good enough for lady. Can add JPY110 for additional noodles which will be enough for a hungry guy.
Taste of soup is rich in shrimp flavor. This strong shrimp flavor makes this ramen different from all other shops around!

The Ramen Dojo on the 3rd floor of the domestic building has over 10 ramen shops and with a quick turnover, is able to accommodate many people. Each shop is somewhat different but try the miso flavor for Sapporo, shoyu flavor for Asahikawa and top it with charsiu pork or gyoza dumplings. The shrimp-based Ebisoba Ichigen is located at the front of this Dojo but the line was too long when I visited.

Must have Ramen

The ramen at the airport has turned out to be one of our fondest memories of our trip to Japan. Yes it was that good. The one with corn and butter was recommended by an article I read somewhere and it definitely delivered.

Small street of Ramen Shops in the airport

This is a very popular place to eat in the airport. It is 'small street' that has many different Ramen shops lining it where the tables are part of the 'street' This is really a Ramen Food court, nicely done.
